Explore Cayn

Remember what you paid. Find better value.

Cayn keeps price history from your receipts, so you can look back at an item, compare the stores you have bought it from and see how its price has changed.

Your grocery total does not tell the whole story. Item prices and comparable unit prices help you make sense of different package sizes and purchases.

For US users on web, iOS and Android. Features and allowances depend on your plan.

Use the prices you have actually paid

Was chicken less expensive at the other store? What did you pay last month? Open an item to revisit its receipt prices, stores and purchase dates instead of trying to remember.

When items and units are comparable, you can review unit prices such as dollars per pound alongside the amount you paid.

Build a useful shopping memory

  1. Add your receipts. Scan or upload them, or use supported receipts from an optional Gmail connection.
  2. Review the item details. Check quantities, sizes and prices so your purchase history reflects the receipt.
  3. Explore an item. See its price history, available store comparisons and price trends.

A better starting point for your next shop

Your own purchase history can help you decide where to shop and whether a price looks good for you. Cayn can also bring relevant savings opportunities to your attention when enough comparable purchases are available.

These are prices from your receipts, not live store quotes. Today's prices, promotions and stock may differ.

Questions about receipt price history

Does Cayn search every store for current prices?

No. Price memory uses your receipt history. It does not promise live prices or coverage of stores you have not bought from.

Can I compare different package sizes?

Comparable unit prices can help when the item details and units are available. Review sizes and quantities, and correct unclear receipt details.

Do I need a bank connection?

No. You can build receipt price history without connecting a bank. A bank connection adds transactions that can be matched to receipts.
