Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Cayn ("Cayn," "we," "us," or "our"). By using Cayn, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Where a specific agreement is presented in the app for acceptance, that agreement governs the covered app use.
Use of Cayn
Cayn is a digital service currently in private beta. Access and availability may change as testing progresses. You are responsible for the information you provide and for using Cayn in compliance with applicable laws.
Account Access
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any connected services you choose to authorize. You may disconnect supported data connections at any time from within Cayn or through the connected service provider.
Connected Services
You may choose to authorize connections with third-party services. Those providers' terms and privacy policies also apply to their services.
No Professional Advice
Information and automated output provided by Cayn are for general reference, not legal, tax, investment, accounting, or other professional advice. You should independently review important decisions and consult qualified professionals when appropriate.
Your Responsibilities
Information may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. You are responsible for verifying information before relying on it and for identifying applicable federal, state, and local requirements. Cayn does not guarantee that reference information identifies every applicable requirement or that your decisions comply with law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Authorization and Electronic Records
Provide or share another person's information only when authorized. Review permissions, recipients, and content before approving an action, sending a communication, or signing a document. Separate consent or verification may be required. A sent message does not by itself establish legally sufficient notice or delivery. Retain copies of important records.
Paid Access
Prices, billing periods, limits, renewal, and any trial terms are disclosed before purchase. Manage cancellations and refunds with the billing provider, subject to its rules and applicable law. Deleting the app or an account does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription.
Acceptable Use
You may not misuse Cayn, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, upload unlawful or harmful content, or use Cayn in a way that violates the rights of others.
Service Changes
During and after beta testing, we may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. Beta access does not guarantee future availability or a particular release date.
Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
Cayn is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all information will always be complete or current.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cayn will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice where appropriate.
